The Smart IS crops module offers growth simulation tools for sugarcane to assess a plot's production potential. Yield forecasting tools for sugarcane and Victoria pineapple.

Decision-making tools for the growth, harvest monitoring and yield of sugar cane in La Réunion island.

The pineapple yield planning and forecasting tool is based on the Simpiña model adapted for La Réunion island.

Environment
Smart IS's environment theme offers tools to help reduce the environmental footprint and tools to access data.
Cartography
Smart IS integrates regional data. Thanks to its integrated geographic information system (GIS), thematic maps are made available to stakeholders in the agricultural sector:

API
The web applications available on Smart IS can be accessed programmatically via web services or an API (Application Programming Interface) developed on Smart IS. This API makes it possible to use Smart IS functions in software such as R, or by programming in Python, or even from a Linux command-line server.

ENTOMOFAUNA-RUN
CIRAD is studying arthropod population dynamics.
Smart IS hosts arthropod data collected weekly over 2 years from 64 traps in 16 sugar cane plots in Petite-Ile (La Réunion Island, Indian Ocean). 91 species and 36 families were inventoried.
The tool, which is currently available on a restricted basis, offers a data entry platform suitable for entomological inventories.
